Chapel Service
Gateway Rescue Mission is seeking local church groups, with a qualified speaker, to come and lead worship on Sunday morning. An interview is required with the group leader before permission will be granted. This may be a one-time event or an ongoing service commitment throughout the year on rotational basis. Feeding Program
Gateway’s kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, 365 days a year. Volunteers are welcome to sign up to serve during either our lunch or dinner feedings. Must be twelve years of age and accompanied by an adult if under eighteen. The maximum number of volunteers allowed in the kitchen is seven. Group logins are created over the phone by calling Rusty Ryan at 601-353-5864 Ext 216. Our meal times are as follows:
Lunch – 11:15-12:30 pm seven days a week.
Dinner – 4:20-5:30 pm seven days a week.
New Life Program for Men
Classes are taught twice a day Monday through Friday. As the Program develops, new classes will be advertised for qualified volunteers to sign up to teach. All volunteers must have a professional background that relates to the subject matter of the course. Each volunteer will be interviewed by staff prior to being assigned to a class.
