Meals Program

He who is generous will be blessed, for he gives some of his food to the poor. (Proverbs 22:9)

If you are hungry, come to our kitchen at 328 South Gallatin street. We serve lunch to anyone who is hungry seven days a week at 12:00 Noon.

A meal is a simple, yet profound way to show God’s love. At Gateway Rescue Mission, we provide a tasty, nutritious meal to each hungry soul who comes to our kitchen.

We serve breakfast and dinner to those staying in our shelters or programs overnight. We serve lunch to the general homeless population and anyone who’s hungry.

If you seek help, call our programmatic staff at 601-353-5864.

Note: For some, the meal they eat in our kitchen is the high point of hope of their day. We see more hungry people coming to our kitchen these days who are not technically homeless. They have shelter, but subsist at a poverty level. Many live in nearby personal care homes and can’t afford to buy food for the entire month. They are welcome in our kitchen.
